My goals for week 1 of the 31 Days of Better Health and Wellness Challenge!

I surprised my family here in WI and came to visit for a month! I love to surprise them and am so excited to be able to spend time with them all as I'm only able to see them once a year or so. Well I'm here with my boys in WI, I'll be working on a better and  healthier me for the 31 days of Better Health and Wellness Challenge along with researching and planning the better and healthier home and food aspects of the challenge. ( You can read about the Challenge and follow along HERE

The first week was about figuring out and setting your goals for all the certain aspects of your life. Along with making them specific enough and refining them. I thought I would share some of my goals which include:

1) to be a more peaceful patient mom to my boys

2) to have daily routines/rhythms for cooking, cleaning that help me to have a more efficient and organized house

3) to be healthier and gain weight/muscle

My 1st goal is to be more peaceful patient mom to my boys which refined more is for me to take time to slow down with dealing with the boys and breathe before I reprimand and discipline. Which will help me have more patient which will in turn help me be more peaceful.

My 2nd goal is to make daily routines (or a better description thanks to MAM (Modern Alternative Mama) rhythms for cooking, cleaning and other aspects to help me have a more efficient and organized house. Refining that goal, I have decided to make a small list of things that need to get done in the morning and evening. Then plug in the things that I would like to get done in between then.

My 3rd goal that I will be sharing is being healthier and gaining weight and muscle. Refining this goal, I decided to make the time for providing my family with real food and working out with yoga and weights.

Since I'm home visiting family I wont be able to work on my house or food goals but will working on my personal goals and then researching and planning for working on my other goals when I return home. I am truly excited for what lies ahead for me as a mom, wife and woman. I hope to also keep up the blog more as I work on everything else.

What goals have you made? And how have you started laying out the plans for doing them?
