I heard a great message at my church this morning about being truly Thankful. The speaker put forward a question that I've never thought about before. "Do you know how God feels Christmas day?" He sent his son to earth Christmas Day knowing that this world was going to betray him and nail him to the cross. Have any of us really ever thought about how hard that was for God? He loved us so much that he was willing to let this world do that to his only son. To save us.
We as Christians have prayed the prayer to invite Jesus and God into our lives. But have we truly taken the time to fully thank Jesus and give him our gratitude for being betrayed and dying for our sins? I thank you Jesus and am very grateful for dying for my sins so that I can be forgiven and as white as snow. I thank you God for baring the pain and anguish of having to let your only son be hung on a cross for our sins.
Have you truly taken the time to thank Jesus Christ and your heavenly father God this Christmas season?
